PRIME (Program for Investment in Micro Entrepreneurs) is funded by the Small Business Administration (SBA) under a federal grant. PRIME's goal is to serve the very low to low income clients and to offer them training and technical assistance to start or expand a small business. We are dedicated to helping entrepreneurial individuals reach their goals and aspirations for personal and professional development. PRIME clients will receive the information and expertise they need to plan their economic independence through owning a business of their own. |
Business Owners Complete Training Program in Partnership
with Key Bank: Oneida, NY; This group of current and perspective business owners successfully completed the five week Small Business Training program in early fall 2006. This training was sponsored by PRIME of Central New York, Women's Business Center of New York State and Key Bank. Business Owners Complete Training Program in Partnership with Adirondack Bank: Little Falls, NY; This group of current business owners updated their Business Action Plans and are planning on expanding their businesses in the near future. This training was sponsored by PRIME of Central New York, Entrepreneur Center of the Business Training Institute, Inc. and the Women's Business Center of New York State. and Adirondack Bank. Entrpreneurs receive help through EAP: EAP - The Entrepreneurial Assistance Center assists minorities, women and dislocated workers to increase the formation of new businesses and strengthen the operations of client firms during their stages of development. In the Oneida, Madison and Herkimer counties your project coordinator is Dina Vullo. |
